Toddler through Adult Dance!
Modern (ages 8 & up)
Modern classes are for students ages 8 & up with some current full hour jazz experience. This class meets weekly for 55 minutes. This class combines warm-up exercises, floor stretches, center floor isolations, progressions and a choreographed routine. Style, rhythm, and dance technique are emphasized. These classes run for the full dance season (Sept.-May), and will perform one dance in both our performances of our annual recital.
Dress Code:
Girls:
Leotard (any color, any style) or sports bra and black leggings
Footless or convertible tights (any color)
Stretch jazz pants, shorts, or capri pants allowed over tights. Shoes: Barefeet
Boys:
Solid Color T-Shirt
Solid Color Sweat Pants or Shorts
Bare Feet
