​Contemporary  and Lyrical Classes are for students 7 & up with 2 years of current full hour ballet and/or jazz experience preferred.  These types of dance combines the technique of ballet with jazz movements and uses dance  to portray a story.  Classes include warm-up exercises, floor stretches, center floor technique, progressions, and a choreographed routine.​  These classes meet for the full dance season (Sept.-May) and will perform one dance in both performances of our annual recital.​
